Who invented the ride-on children's suitcase Trunki, pitched on the British programme Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law invented the ride-on children's suitcase Trunki, which was pitched on the British programme Dragon's Den.

Law developed Trunki as a child-friendly piece of luggage that children could sit on and ride through airports. He presented the product on Dragon's Den in 2006, but the Dragons did not invest in it.

Despite that televised rejection, Trunki became a successful international product. It was manufactured by Law's company, Magmatic, and won design recognition, including a British Design Award. The case became known for its colourful animal-inspired shapes and practical use as cabin luggage.

Trunki's story is often cited as an example of a business succeeding after failing to secure a Dragon's investment. It should not be confused with the later pitch for Tangle Teezer, whose inventor was Shaun Pulfrey.
