Who has presented the British television series Dragon's Den since 2005?

Evan Davis has presented the British television series Dragon's Den since its launch in 2005.

Davis is a British broadcaster and journalist who became known for presenting business and economics programmes before taking the Dragon's Den role. On the show, he introduces entrepreneurs, manages the pitch process and asks follow-up questions while the investors decide whether to make offers.

The presenter is separate from the Dragons themselves. The Dragons are the businesspeople who assess the pitches and negotiate investments; Davis acts as the programme's host and moderator. This distinction matters because the investor lineup has changed repeatedly, while Davis has remained the familiar presenting figure.

Davis has also worked for the BBC on programmes including Newsnight and The Bottom Line. His business and economics background fits the show's focus on company finances, valuation and investment terms.
