Evan Davis has presented the BBC television programme Dragon's Den since its launch in 2005.
Davis is a British broadcaster and economist who became the programme's presenter and interviewer. In that role, he introduces the pitches, manages the studio proceedings, and helps viewers follow the negotiations between entrepreneurs and investors.
His work on Dragon's Den is separate from the Dragons' roles: he does not sit on the investment panel or make the offers. The panel has changed over the years, while Davis has remained the familiar host associated with the format.
Davis is also known for BBC radio and television journalism, including presenting Newsnight and Radio 4's Today programme. Those roles can cause confusion when identifying him solely from his Dragon's Den work.
