Evan Davis has presented every series of the British television programme Dragon's Den.
Davis is a British economist, journalist and broadcaster. He became the programme's presenter when Dragon's Den began in 2005 and has remained associated with the series throughout its run. His role is to introduce the entrepreneurs, explain the businesses and guide viewers through the negotiations.
Unlike the investors, who have changed over the years, the presenter provides continuity between series. Davis does not normally decide whether a business receives funding; that decision belongs to the Dragons, who question the contestants about sales, costs, valuations and ownership.
Davis is also known for his work on BBC radio and television news. This sometimes leads to confusion with other presenters who have hosted business or reality programmes, but Dragon's Den's long-running British presenter is Evan Davis. The answer refers to the UK BBC series, not similarly named editions made in other countries.
