Who has presented BBC's Dragon's Den since the programme began in 2005?
Answer
Evan Davis
Answer
Evan Davis
Evan Davis has presented BBC's Dragon's Den since the programme began in 2005.
Davis is a British journalist, presenter and economist. Before joining Dragon's Den, he was best known for work with the BBC, including economics reporting and presenting the current-affairs programme Newsnight. His calm interviewing style became a defining part of the investment show's presentation.
Dragon's Den premiered in the United Kingdom on BBC Two in 2005. Davis introduces the entrepreneurs, oversees their pitches and keeps the negotiations moving, while the Dragons decide whether to invest. The investors themselves have changed across the show's history, but Davis has remained the familiar presenter.
He is sometimes confused with Adrian Chiles, who presented the BBC business programme Working Lunch and later The One Show. Chiles was not the original Dragon's Den presenter.
