Peter Jones has appeared in every series of the BBC television show Dragons' Den since its 2005 launch.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and investor who joined the original panel alongside Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Peter Jones. Although the panel has changed repeatedly, Jones remained the constant member across the programme's run.
His businesses have included interests in technology, retail, media and property. On the show, he is known for making offers based on the proposed company's commercial potential, ownership structure and ability to grow.
A common mix-up is to identify Duncan Bannatyne as the longest-serving Dragon because he was one of the most recognisable early investors. Bannatyne, however, left the programme after its twelfth series, while Jones continued. The show's rotating panel means that many other Dragons have appeared for only a limited period.
