Who founded the British company Tangle Teezer, which appeared on Dragon's Den?

Shaun Pulfrey founded the British company Tangle Teezer, which appeared on Dragon's Den.

Pulfrey was a professional hair colourist who developed the product after observing how difficult it could be to remove tangles without pulling or damaging hair. He created a brush with flexible teeth arranged to work through knots in a different way from a traditional rigid brush.

Pulfrey pitched the business on Dragon's Den and secured investment from Theo Paphitis. The television appearance gave the company publicity as well as access to a Dragon’s retail experience and commercial contacts. Tangle Teezer later developed several product lines and sold in markets beyond the United Kingdom.

The founder is sometimes confused with the programme’s better-known entrepreneurs because the product became a major commercial success. Shaun Pulfrey is the correct answer; Theo Paphitis was the investor, not the inventor or founder.
