Rob Law founded Trunki, the British children's travel product company featured on BBC Dragon's Den.
Law designed the ride-on suitcase after identifying a problem faced by families travelling with young children. The colourful case allowed children to sit on it and be pulled through airports, making it both luggage and a form of entertainment. Law developed the idea while studying product design at university.
His Dragon's Den appearance became notable because the Dragons did not invest, despite the product later becoming commercially successful. The pitch is often remembered as an example of a business rejected on television that went on to build a strong independent brand.
Trunki is sometimes confused with other luggage companies or with the entrepreneurs who appeared on the programme. The founder connected with the product is Rob Law, while Trunki is the brand name of the ride-on children's suitcase.
