Who does Queen Amidala ask for help in her war against the trade federation?

Queen Amidala asks Boss Nass and the Gungans for help in her war against the Trade Federation.

In Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, the Trade Federation occupies Naboo and threatens both the planet’s human population and its native Gungans. After returning to Naboo, Amidala seeks an alliance with Boss Nass, the proud leader of the Gungans.

The request is significant because the Naboo and Gungans have long been divided by mistrust. Amidala breaks through that hostility by revealing her true identity and humbling herself before Boss Nass, asking the Gungans to help liberate their shared homeworld. Nass agrees to commit the Gungan Grand Army.

The Gungans then engage the Trade Federation’s battle droids in a large ground battle on the plains, drawing the army away from Theed. This allows Amidala and her forces to infiltrate the palace and capture Viceroy Nute Gunray. The Jawas, Wookiees, and stormtroopers are unrelated to this alliance: Jawas are scavengers, Wookiees are associated primarily with Kashyyyk, and stormtroopers serve the later Galactic Empire.
