Who directed the 2011 animated film Puss in Boots?

Chris Miller directed the 2011 animated film Puss in Boots.

Miller had already directed Shrek the Third, making him an experienced filmmaker within the franchise before he moved to the Puss-centered spin-off. The film was produced by DreamWorks Animation and expanded the character’s story beyond his supporting role in the Shrek sequels.

Antonio Banderas returned as the voice of Puss. The adventure follows Puss before the events of the Shrek films and introduces Kitty Softpaws, voiced by Salma Hayek, along with Humpty Alexander Dumpty, voiced by Zach Galifianakis.

This film should not be confused with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, which was released in 2022 and directed by Joel Crawford. The two films share the character and voice actor but have different directors.
