Who directed Terminator: Dark Fate?
Answer
Tim Miller
Answer
Tim Miller
Tim Miller directed Terminator: Dark Fate. Released in 2019, it was the sixth feature film in the Terminator franchise and continued the storyline associated with the first two films.
Miller was known before Dark Fate for directing Deadpool, another effects-heavy action film. Dark Fate brought back Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger as a version of the Terminator, while introducing Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, and Gabriel Luna in major roles.
James Cameron, director of The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, served as a producer and story contributor on Dark Fate. His involvement sometimes causes viewers to mistakenly identify him as the film’s director, but the directing credit belongs to Miller.
Dark Fate was written to follow Terminator 2 while treating several later films as outside its principal continuity. Its story introduces a new machine intelligence and a new future threat centered on Dani Ramos.
