What is the title of the Terminator television series that premiered in 2008?

The television series that premiered in 2008 is titled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It follows Sarah Connor and her teenage son John after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Lena Headey played Sarah Connor, Thomas Dekker played John Connor, and Summer Glau played Cameron, a reprogrammed Terminator sent to protect John. The series developed the franchise’s themes of artificial intelligence, destiny, family, and attempts to prevent Judgment Day.

The show is sometimes shortened informally to “The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” but its full official title begins with “Terminator.” It is also distinct from the theatrical films and does not continue the exact continuity of every later movie.

The series ran for two seasons. Its first season debuted in January 2008, and its second season followed later that year. The program’s title refers to Sarah’s perspective and her continuing effort to protect John while preparing for a possible machine war.
