Who directed Portal 2?

Joshua Weier directed Portal 2.

Weier is credited as the game’s director on the 2011 sequel, overseeing a much larger production than the original Portal. Portal 2 expanded the series with cooperative play, new testing environments, excursion funnels, hard-light bridges, lasers, and gels while preserving the first game’s portal-based puzzle structure.

Several other names in the options are strongly associated with Portal, which makes this an easy credit to mix up. Erik Wolpaw was one of the writers, Kim Swift was a key designer on the original Portal and left Valve during Portal 2’s development, and Robin Walker is chiefly associated with Team Fortress 2. Gabe Newell produced Portal 2, while Mike Morasky composed its music.
