Who directed Pokémon Pokopia at Game Freak?

Shigeru Ohmori directed Pokémon Pokopia at Game Freak.

Ohmori is a longtime Pokémon developer who also directed Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. For Pokopia, he served as the game's concept and senior director, helping shape its focus on creating habitats where Pokémon could live together.

The idea for Pokopia grew from Ohmori's earlier work on Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. While reflecting on map design and the appeal of shaping Pokémon environments, he developed the concept of letting players cultivate their own habitats rather than merely traveling through fixed routes.

Takuto Edagawa served as chief director for Omega Force, so the game has more than one prominent directing role. Shigeru Ohmori is the specific answer when the question asks for the Game Freak director.
