Who directed Pokémon Pokopia alongside Omega Force director Takuto Edagawa?

Shigeru Ohmori directed Pokémon Pokopia alongside Omega Force director Takuto Edagawa.

Ohmori is a Game Freak director known for major Pokémon projects, including Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire’s map design and later leadership on Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Pokopia grew from his interest in letting players create Pokémon habitats.

The project reflects a different design emphasis from the conventional Pokémon formula. Ohmori’s concept focused on how players could build, explore, interact with, and bond with Pokémon, rather than treating habitat creation as a side feature.

Takuto Edagawa served as the chief director from Omega Force, so the two names represent different sides of the co-development partnership. Junichi Masuda and Satoshi Tajiri are also major Pokémon figures, but they are not the director credited for Pokopia in this pairing.
