Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker to end his WrestleMania winning streak at WrestleMania XXX.
The match took place on March 30, 2014, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Lesnar won by pinfall after delivering three F-5s. WWE’s official match presentation initially caused confusion because the live crowd and television commentators appeared stunned by the result.
The Undertaker had entered WrestleMania XXX with a 21–0 record, built through victories over notable opponents including Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Batista and CM Punk. Lesnar’s victory became one of the most unexpected results in WrestleMania history.
Roman Reigns later defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33, but that was not the match that ended the streak. Lesnar’s victory at WrestleMania XXX remains the official end of the celebrated record.
