Who created the show "Steven Universe"?

Rebecca Sugar created the animated television show Steven Universe.

Sugar developed Steven Universe for Cartoon Network after working as a writer and storyboard artist on Adventure Time. The series premiered in the United States on November 4, 2013, and follows Steven, a young half-human boy raised by the Crystal Gems. The show combines science fantasy, comedy, musical storytelling, and coming-of-age themes.
