Who composed the main musical score for Assassin's Creed II?

Jesper Kyd composed the main musical score for Assassin's Creed II. His music combines orchestral writing, electronic textures, and choral or vocal elements to support the game's Renaissance setting and Ezio Auditore's development.

Kyd had already composed the score for the first Assassin's Creed game. For Assassin's Creed II, he created music associated with locations, stealth, combat, travel, and the recurring character theme often known as Ezio's Family.

The score helped establish a musical identity that continued to influence later Assassin's Creed soundtracks. Kyd also returned for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations, completing the principal musical arc of the Ezio trilogy.
