Who became the youngest permanent Dragon on BBC's Dragon's Den in 2022?

Steven Bartlett became the youngest permanent Dragon on BBC's Dragon's Den in 2022.

Bartlett joined the programme for its twentieth series, which began broadcasting in 2022. He was born in 1992, making him 29 when his appointment was announced and 30 during the series' broadcast period. His appointment introduced a younger technology and social-media-focused perspective to the panel.

Before joining the show, Bartlett co-founded the social-media marketing agency Social Chain with Dominic McGregor. He later became known for The Diary of a CEO podcast and for investments in technology and consumer businesses.

The description youngest permanent Dragon refers to his age when joining the regular panel, not to the youngest entrepreneur ever to pitch. Guest appearances and contestants are separate categories, and the panel's age record can change as future Dragons are appointed.
