Who became the youngest-ever Dragon when joining BBC's Dragon's Den in 2022?

The story behind the answer

Steven Bartlett became the youngest-ever Dragon when he joined BBC's Dragon's Den in 2022.

Bartlett was born in Botswana in 1992 and became known as a technology entrepreneur, author and podcaster. He co-founded the social-media marketing agency Social Chain, which grew into an international business before its public listing through a merger.

He joined the British programme for its twentieth series, taking a seat on the panel at the age of 29. His appointment brought a younger, digitally focused perspective to a panel traditionally associated with retail, manufacturing, property and established consumer brands.

Bartlett is sometimes confused with Nick Jenkins, who was the founder of Moonpig and also served as a Dragon. Jenkins was older and joined the panel earlier. The age record belongs to Bartlett's 2022 appointment.
