Who became the youngest-ever Dragon on the British television programme Dragon's Den?

Steven Bartlett became the youngest-ever Dragon on the British television programme Dragon's Den.

Bartlett joined the panel in 2022, when he was 29 years old. His appointment followed the success of his entrepreneurial career, especially the social-media marketing company Social Chain, which he co-founded with Dominic McGregor in 2014.

His route into the Den differed from that of several older investors who had built traditional retail, manufacturing, or property businesses. Bartlett became known for expertise in technology, digital media, branding, and online communities. He also presents The Diary of a CEO podcast, which broadened his public profile beyond entrepreneurship.

The phrase “youngest-ever Dragon” refers to his age when he joined the regular panel, not to the age of the contestants who appear on the programme. Bartlett's appointment also marked a generational change in the panel, bringing a major focus on digital-first businesses and internet-era consumer brands.
