Who became the youngest Dragon when he joined Dragon's Den in 2021?

Steven Bartlett became the youngest Dragon when he joined Dragon's Den in 2021.

Bartlett joined the BBC programme for its nineteenth series, alongside fellow new Dragon Sarah Davies. He was 29 when he took his place on the panel, making him the youngest investor in the show's British history at that point.

He had co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency, with Dominic McGregor. Bartlett later became known for The Diary of a CEO podcast, but his Dragon's Den appointment was based on his technology, marketing and digital-business experience.

The name is occasionally confused with Nick Jenkins, who was also a younger, technology-focused Dragon. Jenkins joined the programme earlier and was not the record-holder created by the 2021 appointment. Bartlett's age at entry is the specific reason for the distinction.
