Who became the youngest Dragon on the UK version of Dragon's Den when he joined in 2022?

Steven Bartlett became the youngest Dragon on the UK version of Dragon's Den when he joined in 2022.

Bartlett is an entrepreneur, author and podcast host best known for co-founding Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency. His career began in digital media and online business rather than traditional manufacturing or retail.

His appointment marked a generational change in the panel. Bartlett brought experience in social platforms, branding and digitally native companies, areas that had become increasingly important to entrepreneurs seeking investment.

The word youngest refers to his age when joining the panel, not to the age of the contestants he backs. Dragon's Den has featured investors from varied business backgrounds, so the programme's panel has gradually expanded beyond conventional high-street and manufacturing expertise.
