Answer
Janelle James
Janelle James announced the nominations for the 2026 SAG Awards alongside Connor Storrie.
The nominations were revealed on January 7, 2026, ahead of the March ceremony. James and Storrie jointly announced the contenders across the film and television categories, beginning the official awards-season process for the 32nd event.
James is known for her work as an actor and comedian, while Storrie was among the performers selected to reveal the year’s nominees. Their announcement preceded the voting that determined the winners presented at the ceremony.
The 2026 event was the first ceremony officially titled the Actor Awards. Although the branding changed, the awards continued to be presented by SAG-AFTRA and retained the organization’s focus on peer recognition for acting performances.
