Which year did Assassin's Creed Mirage release worldwide?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Mirage released worldwide in 2023.

Ubisoft released Mirage on October 5, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. An iPhone and iPad version followed in 2024. The game is set in ninth-century Baghdad and follows Basim Ibn Ishaq before the events of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Mirage was designed as a more compact, stealth-focused experience than several recent open-world entries. Its setting and structure draw heavily on the series' earlier emphasis on investigation, social stealth, parkour, and targeted assassinations. Basim joins the Hidden Ones and develops from a street thief into an Assassin.

The 2023 date refers to the game's original worldwide release, not its later Apple-device launch. Mirage is also separate from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which first introduced Basim as a major character and was released in 2020.
