Jacob and Evie Frye lead the playable Assassin team in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

The twins are British Assassins who travel to London in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob focuses on direct action and recruits the Rooks, a street gang that helps challenge Templar control. Evie is more methodical and investigates the search for an ancient Piece of Eden while working with allies in the city's Assassin network.

Syndicate allows players to switch between Jacob and Evie for much of the campaign, although some missions require a particular twin. Their different skills support contrasting approaches: Jacob favors combat and gang leadership, while Evie specializes in stealth and discovery.

The game depicts Victorian London through districts such as Whitechapel, Westminster, and the City of London. It was released in 2015 and also introduced the grappling hook, carriage driving, and train-based mobile headquarters.
