Which twins lead the Assassin protagonists in Assassin's Creed Syndicate?

Jacob and Evie Frye lead the Assassin protagonists in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

The Frye twins are English Assassins who travel to London in 1868. Jacob focuses on building a gang and fighting Templar influence in the city's streets, while Evie investigates Pieces of Eden and works to uncover deeper conspiracies. Players can switch between them during much of the campaign, and each has distinct skills and equipment.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set during the Industrial Revolution. London includes districts such as Westminster, the City of London, and Whitechapel, with factories, railways, and crowded streets shaping the gameplay. The twins oppose Crawford Starrick, the Templar Grand Master who controls much of the city's infrastructure and institutions.

The Fryes are siblings, not rival characters from separate games. Shay Cormac is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Rogue, while Arno Dorian stars in Assassin's Creed Unity. Syndicate was released in 2015 and is notable for making two related protagonists central to the campaign.
