Which twin siblings lead the playable storyline in Assassin's Creed Syndicate?

The story behind the answer

Jacob and Evie Frye lead the playable storyline in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

The Frye twins are British Assassins who operate in London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is more confrontational and focuses on building a gang, while Evie is more methodical and investigates Pieces of Eden and Templar activity. Players can switch between them during much of the campaign.

Their activities bring them into contact with historical figures including Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, Karl Marx, and Alexander Graham Bell. Jacob's gang is called the Rooks, and the twins work to weaken the Templars' control of London.

Jacob and Evie are siblings, not romantic partners or rival protagonists. Syndicate is also the first main series entry centered on two playable Assassin protagonists. Its London setting distinguishes it from Unity's revolutionary Paris.
