Jacob Frye is one of the two playable protagonists in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Jacob and his twin sister, Evie Frye, are Assassins who travel to London in 1868. They challenge Templar control during the Industrial Revolution and build a street gang called the Rooks to oppose the rival Blighters.
Jacob is generally associated with direct combat, gang leadership, and actions aimed at controlling London's districts. Evie is more focused on stealth, investigation, and locating an Isu artifact. Players can switch between the twins during much of the campaign, while some missions require a specific character.
The game includes historical figures such as Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, Karl Marx, and Alexander Graham Bell. Its London map features locations including Westminster, the City of London, and the Thames.
