Which television series earned Noah Wyle’s 2026 Actor Award?

Noah Wyle earned his 2026 Actor Award for his performance in The Pitt.

Wyle plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, a senior physician working in the emergency department at the center of the medical drama. The series focuses on the intensity of hospital work and the personal pressures faced by its staff.

Wyle’s win came in the male actor in a drama series category. The Pitt also won the drama ensemble award, linking Wyle’s individual recognition with a broader cast victory.

The role continued Wyle’s long association with medical television. Before The Pitt, he was widely known for playing Dr. John Carter on ER, one of the best-known hospital dramas in American television history. The 2026 award marked a new major recognition for his later television work.
