Which television network originally broadcast Better Call Saul?

The story behind the answer

AMC originally broadcast Better Call Saul.

The series debuted on AMC in the United States in February 2015. Its connection to Breaking Bad made it one of the network’s most prominent original dramas, and AMC aired all six seasons through the show’s conclusion in 2022.

AMC had also broadcast Breaking Bad, so the network already had an audience familiar with Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the criminal world developed by Vince Gilligan. Better Call Saul expanded that world through a slower legal and character-driven story.

Streaming availability is a common source of confusion. Netflix became an important international and on-demand home for the series in many regions, but it was not the network that originally broadcast the program. AMC is the original U.S. broadcaster and the network most directly associated with its television premiere.
