The Minnesota Twins wore throwback uniforms inspired by their original 1961 home jerseys in the 2026 MLB Field of Dreams Game.
The Twins’ special home uniform used a white jersey with navy-blue pinstripes and a navy “Twins” script outlined in red. The design also included the familiar “Minnie and Paul” sleeve logo, a navy cap with an interlocking white T and red C, and navy socks.
The uniform history reflects the franchise’s move to Minnesota. The team began playing as the Minnesota Twins in 1961 after relocating from Washington, D.C. The 2026 design drew on that early Minnesota identity rather than reproducing a later modern uniform.
Philadelphia wore a different historical design: gray road uniforms inspired by the Phillies’ 1939–41 uniforms. Those jerseys featured a red slanted “Phillies” script with navy outlining and period-style striping. Because both clubs wore retro designs, it is easy to attach the wrong historical era to the wrong team.
The uniforms were unveiled on July 20, 2026, ahead of the August 13 game. The Twins were the designated home team, so their 1961-inspired design served as the home look for the special contest.
