The Iowa Cubs won the 2026 MiLB at Field of Dreams Game before the MLB matchup.
The Triple-A contest featured the Iowa Cubs, the Chicago Cubs’ affiliate, against the St. Paul Saints, Minnesota’s affiliate. Iowa won the game 6-3 at the Field of Dreams site two days before the Phillies and Twins played their Major League contest.
The minor-league game formed part of a broader baseball program around MLB’s return to Dyersville. The schedule also included a high-school All-American event, making the week more than a single professional game.
The Iowa Cubs should not be confused with the Minnesota Twins, who were the home team in the later MLB matchup. The Cubs won the minor-league game, while Philadelphia won the Major League game 7-1.
