Hull City won 2–0 against Manchester United during the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend.
The match took place at Hull’s MKM Stadium on Saturday 22 August 2026. It was the first Saturday lunchtime fixture of the season and one of the opening round’s most notable results.
Hull’s two-goal victory gave the club three points and a positive start after promotion to the Premier League. Manchester United ended the match without a goal, so Hull also recorded a clean sheet.
This result is distinct from Hull City’s later opening-round fixture in other seasons and from the club’s historical meetings with Manchester United. The question concerns the 2026–27 Premier League match specifically, which finished 2–0 to the hosts.
