Which team has won the most Constructors' Championships?
Answer
Ferrari
Answer
Ferrari
Ferrari has won the most Formula One Constructors’ Championships. The Italian team earned its first constructors’ title in 1961 and has remained the sport’s most successful constructor across multiple eras.
Ferrari’s record was built in distinct waves. It dominated with drivers such as Niki Lauda in the 1970s and then enjoyed an extraordinary run with Michael Schumacher, winning six constructors’ titles between 1999 and 2004. That included five consecutive championships from 1999 through 2003, a record at the time.
The Constructors’ Championship is awarded to the team whose drivers score the most combined points over a season. This differs from the Drivers’ Championship, which goes to one individual. McLaren, Williams and Mercedes are also highly successful teams, but none has surpassed Ferrari’s total. Ferrari is also the only team to have competed in every Formula One world championship season since 1950.
