Which superhero has the power of invisibility in The Seven?
Answer
Translucent
Answer
Translucent
Translucent has the power of invisibility in The Seven in The Boys. His ability comes from transforming his skin into a carbon-like metamaterial that bends light, making him effectively invisible while also giving him remarkable durability.
Unlike many members of The Seven, Translucent was created specifically for the television adaptation and does not occupy the same role in the original comic. The series introduces him as a member of Vought’s elite superhero team, where his stealth and near-invulnerability make him useful for surveillance and intimidation.
His invisibility has an important limitation: his clothing does not disappear with him, so he generally has to be naked to remain unseen. The power also does not make him completely unbeatable. The Boys discover that his hardened exterior does not protect him from internal damage, allowing Hughie to kill him with an explosive. Translucent is played by Alex Hassell, while Black Noir relies on stealth and combat rather than invisibility.
