Ubisoft Quebec developed Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

The Quebec studio led development of the game, with support from other Ubisoft teams. Odyssey was released in 2018 and is set in ancient Greece during the fifth century BC, around the time of the Peloponnesian War.

Players choose between two siblings, Alexios and Kassandra, as the main playable character. The game expands the role-playing structure introduced by Assassin's Creed Origins with dialogue choices, branching outcomes, ability upgrades, and equipment rarity.

Ubisoft Montreal is frequently named by mistake because it developed the original Assassin's Creed and several major entries in the franchise. Ubisoft Quebec previously worked on Assassin's Creed Syndicate and later developed Assassin's Creed Shadows, but Odyssey remains its most prominent ancient-Greece project.
