Hulu released King of the Hill season 14 as the show’s revival.
Season 14 premiered on Hulu on August 4, 2025, making it the first new season since the original series ended its Fox run in 2009. The revival returned Mike Judge and Greg Daniels’ animated sitcom to Arlen, Texas, with the characters older and the story updated by an eight-year time jump.
The original series aired primarily on Fox for seasons 1 through 13, so the move to Hulu is the key change behind the question. Hulu had already held U.S. streaming rights to the earlier seasons and commissioned the revival.
The service distinction can be slightly confusing internationally: the revival was also made available through Disney+ with Hulu in the United States and as a Star Original in some international markets. Its primary U.S. home and commissioning streamer, however, was Hulu.
