Paramount+ carried the 2026 Golden Globe Awards alongside CBS.
The 83rd Golden Globes were broadcast on CBS and made available to stream through Paramount+. This gave viewers both a traditional television option and an online streaming option for the ceremony.
CBS and Paramount+ are connected through Paramount Global’s media businesses, making the pairing different from a broadcast network licensing the event to an unrelated streaming platform. The ceremony was hosted by Nikki Glaser and originated from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Streaming availability is separate from the awards’ eligibility rules. The ceremony honored film and television work from 2025, regardless of whether a nominated production was released theatrically, on broadcast television or through a streaming service. For example, major winners came from productions associated with Netflix, Apple TV+ and other distributors.
