Etihad Stadium was listed as Manchester City’s home venue for the 2026–27 Premier League season opener.
Manchester City hosted AFC Bournemouth there on Sunday 23 August 2026. The fixture was scheduled for a 14:00 BST kickoff as part of the first match round.
The stadium is also known as the City of Manchester Stadium, its formal municipal name. “Etihad Stadium” is the widely used sponsored name, so both names may appear in football records and reporting.
The ground is in Manchester and had a listed capacity of 61,038 in the season’s stadium table. It should not be confused with Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, another Manchester club in the same Premier League campaign.
