Which special Pokémon is a Tangrowth called in Pokémon Pokopia?

The Tangrowth called Professor Tangrowth appears in Pokémon Pokopia.

After Ditto enters the abandoned world, it meets this Tangrowth, who has taken responsibility for studying the environment and investigating why humans and Pokémon disappeared. Professor Tangrowth becomes an important guide during the effort to restore habitats.

The name is a character title rather than Tangrowth’s species name alone. Tangrowth is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV, while the professor’s role gives the character a distinctive identity within Pokopia’s story.

Professor Tangrowth should not be confused with the existing Pokémon professor characters from the main games, such as Professor Oak or Professor Rowan. Pokopia’s professor is itself a Pokémon, reflecting the game’s unusual setting and character premise.
