Peakychu is the special Pokémon in Pokémon Pokopia that has lost its ability to generate electricity.
Peakychu is a distinctive character encountered as Ditto restores habitats. The name resembles Pikachu, but it identifies a specific special Pokémon in Pokopia rather than the ordinary species as a whole.
The character’s unusual condition gives the familiar electric mascot a different story role. Instead of being defined by electrical attacks, Peakychu is notable for having lost that ability. This fits Pokopia’s broader emphasis on individual Pokémon with unusual histories, needs, and personalities.
Peakychu can be confused with Pichu or Raichu because all three names belong to Pikachu’s evolutionary family. They are separate Pokémon, however. Peakychu is the Pokopia character described as a Pikachu without electrical power; it is not an official evolution-stage name such as Pichu or Raichu.
