Which special Pikachu character appears in Pokémon Pokopia?

Peakychu is the special Pikachu character who appears in Pokémon Pokopia.

Peakychu is described as a Pikachu that has lost the ability to generate electricity. This distinctive trait gives the character a role beyond simply being another familiar species in the game. Peakychu is one of several special Pokémon encountered as Ditto restores habitats and uncovers the story.

The name can be confused with Pikachu because Peakychu is based on that species. However, the question asks for the character's specific name, not the species name. Other notable special characters include Smearguru, a talented Smeargle; Mosslax, a Snorlax covered in moss; and DJ Rotom, a Rotom possessing a stereo system.

Peakychu fits Pokopia's broader approach to Pokémon characterization. Instead of focusing only on combat statistics, the game gives individual Pokémon unusual histories, abilities, jobs, or personal problems that players encounter while rebuilding the world.
