Rabanne collaborated with H&M on a collection released in November 2023.
The collaboration brought Rabanne’s metallic, party-oriented aesthetic to clothing, accessories and home pieces. It was presented as a broad lifestyle collection rather than a simple womenswear capsule, with reflective materials, embellishment and bold decorative details central to its appearance.
Rabanne was founded in Paris in 1966 by Spanish-born designer Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo, known professionally as Paco Rabanne. The house became famous for experimental garments made from unconventional materials, including metal and plastic. In 2023, the brand formally adopted “Rabanne” as its principal name, replacing the more familiar Paco Rabanne branding.
The timing can cause confusion because the H&M collaboration was announced and released during that naming transition. The correct fashion-house answer is Rabanne, not Loewe, Balenciaga or another Spanish-associated label.
