“Crazy in Love” features Jay-Z and served as the lead single from Beyoncé’s Dangerously in Love.
Released in 2003, the song combines Beyoncé’s vocals with a prominent sampled horn figure from the Chi-Lites’ “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So).” Rich Harrison produced and co-wrote the track, while Jay-Z contributed a rap verse.
The single became one of Beyoncé’s signature recordings and topped the Billboard Hot 100. At the 46th Grammy Awards, it won Best R&B Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
It is often confused with “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” an earlier Beyoncé and Jay-Z collaboration released in 2002. “Crazy in Love” is the song specifically tied to her debut solo album and its lead-single campaign.
