Weyes Blood accompanied Olivia Rodrigo with background vocals during Rodrigo’s “Begged” performance on Saturday Night Live. The performance took place on May 2, 2026, before the album’s release.
Rodrigo performed “Begged” while seated on a swing, a staging choice that paid homage to the artwork for You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. It was her second performance of the evening, following “Drop Dead,” and Connor Storrie introduced it.
Weyes Blood is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Natalie Mering. She is distinct from Conan Gray, who contributed backing vocals to the album track “Honeybee,” and Robert Smith, who appears as a guest on “What’s Wrong with Me.” Those separate collaborations are common sources of confusion when identifying vocal guests connected with the album.
