The Pitt won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series at the 2026 SAG Awards.
The Pitt is a medical drama created by R. Scott Gemmill and set in the emergency department of a Pittsburgh hospital. Its ensemble award recognized the combined work of the series cast, rather than awarding one performer for a single role. Noah Wyle also won the male actor award in a drama series for his performance as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch.
The ensemble category is distinct from the comedy ensemble prize, which went to The Studio. It is also different from the television stunt ensemble category, won by The Last of Us. These awards separate dramatic acting, comedic acting and stunt performance across television productions.
The Pitt premiered on Max in January 2025. Its first season was structured around a 15-hour emergency-room shift, with episodes following the staff and patients through the pressures of hospital care. The show’s SAG success reflected recognition for both its group performance and Wyle’s lead work.
