Adolescence won Best Female Supporting Actor in Television through Erin Doherty at the 2026 Golden Globes.
Doherty’s award was one of several honors received by Adolescence during the ceremony. The limited series also won the top award for its format and received recognition for both leading and supporting performances, making it one of the night’s dominant television productions.
The program follows the aftermath of a serious crime involving a teenage boy. Its dramatic structure examines family relationships, policing, schools, and public reaction rather than treating the event as a simple procedural mystery.
Because Adolescence competed in limited-series categories, it should not be confused with The Pitt or The Studio, which won the regular drama-series and musical-or-comedy series prizes. Those awards recognize ongoing series in different television formats.
