Which Saudi company is the world's largest integrated oil and gas company?
Answer
Saudi Aramco
Answer
Saudi Aramco
Saudi Aramco is the world’s largest integrated oil and gas company.
Saudi Aramco is formally known as Saudi Arabian Oil Company and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Its operations span exploration, production, refining, chemicals, marketing, and international energy investments. The company controls much of Saudi Arabia’s petroleum production and manages some of the world’s largest proven oil reserves.
The business developed from the discovery and exploitation of Saudi oil fields by the Arabian American Oil Company, formed in the 1930s. Saudi Arabia gradually acquired ownership, and the company became fully state-owned in 1980. It later listed a portion of its shares on the Saudi stock exchange in 2019.
Saudi Aramco is often listed among the world’s most valuable companies by market capitalization. Market value can change with oil prices, production expectations, interest rates, and the company’s share price.
