Which Rolls-Royce model is a fastback grand tourer introduced in 2013?

The story behind the answer

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is the fastback grand tourer introduced in 2013.

The modern Wraith was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and entered production as a two-door coupé. It used the Ghost’s underlying platform but received a more powerful engine, a lower roofline, and a dramatic fastback body. The design was intended to give Rolls-Royce a sportier character without abandoning the marque’s focus on luxury.

Its name comes from the earlier Rolls-Royce Wraith built from 1938 to 1939. That historical car was based on the 25/30 hp and used a six-cylinder engine. The modern model therefore revived a historic Rolls-Royce name rather than introducing an entirely new naming tradition.

Wraith is often mixed up with Dawn. Dawn is the related convertible, while Wraith has a fixed roof and two side-hinged rear-hinged doors. The model was discontinued during the transition to Rolls-Royce’s newer electric range.
